Chad Manning Un-Retires, Literally Tens Excited

It turns out that Chad Manning will NOT abandon his career as a gay adult performer on April 25th as promised announced earlier this week.

Howard Andrew, owner of Fabscout Entertainment and Chad's agent, told GayVN Thursday that "Chad had an unpleasant interaction with someone and made a rash decision. He was angry, and he posted an announcement to his blog, but then he changed his mind and took it down." 

Right, or was it after he quit that he then found out what life outside the bubble was like? 

He's having a really good time in the industry right now, " Andrew continued "As a matter of fact, he's really excited about his new movie he's shooting for Steve Cruz. He said it's the best movie he's ever made, and more than that, the best crew he's ever worked with."

Be careful guys, if we learned anything from Christian Bale, "actors" can snap at any moment and you could end up with bruises on your face, or worse, being called a worthless piece of crap by a sub-par actor.

See? I'm a Trendsetter, MTV Gets on Pornumentary Bandwagon

Just a few months after being signed as an exclusive to Jet Set, Aaron James will appear on an MTV True Life episode entitled "I Work In The Sex Industry".

The documentary, or as I like to call it "Pornumentary", will focus on James and two other youngin's who work in the adult industry (duh). The episode will begin airing tonight (wednesday) at 11pm ET and will be beaten with a stick rebroadcast in true MTV style throughout March.

A crew from the popular(?) MTV show followed James around for several months as he jet-setted (see the pun?) across the US. I'm told the episode will include footage of the filming of Jet Set Men's "On Fire!" as well as footage from his upcoming starring role in "Hollywood Sex Club" and from the Jet Set Men booth at the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo. 

What I can't wait for is the frank discussions with James' family members who were unaware of James' endeavors into the porn world before the pornumentary was shot. 

I've got to trademark that.

Village Lighthouse DVD Releases Pornumentary...Yes, I Just Made Up a Word.

So if you've ever wanted to know what grueling work goes into the making of a man-meat calendar, look no further than Knockout! the DVD from Village Lighthouse "candidly follows Oppedisano from the locker room to the ring with seven alpha-male, no-holds-barred fighters.", or so says the press-release.

Oppedisano is known for his aggressive, masculine style of photography, which has resonated with fans of Tom of Finland and COLT. And I must say, this video featuring the male energy of seven brawlers set to music compiled by Bill Coleman, owner and founder of the Peace Bisquit music label really feeds my need to know the inner-workings of a macho-man calendar.

Right.

Jet Set Men Beats A Not-So-Dead Horse, Starts a New Website

While I'm not going to lie, its a very hot flick, I still can't get over the amount of money Jet Set Men keeps pouring into promoting this award-nominated, best-selling movie.

They recently unveiled a new website for the movie, OnFireTheMovie.com , to celebrate the wild success of the film, which is up for six GayVN Awards. The site features the story behind the making of the movie, hi-res photo galleries, special hardcore trailers for the movie and much more admittedly cool stuff.

So, if you haven't checked out this awesome movie yet, then I guess the new website is a good place to start. If you have, then please, disregard this post.

A Shameless Plug For Me

Raging Stallion Wants You To See Every Detail, Ingrown Hair

That's right. Although it's not exactly anything groundbreaking, Raging Stallion announced today that they will be releasing "Grunts", the first in, what appears to be, a planned series of military smut on March 31st on Blu-Ray Disc.

Although this title was already released in a lower-quality, yet more comfortable for viewing DVD version in November of last year, the studio isn't leaving this best-selling of 2007 release alone. The film was nominated for 20 GAYVN Awards including best picture, best director and best actor to name a few. But that's just not good enough.

This will be Raging Stallions first HD release (but not the first HD Porn operation as HDDVD had a few releases before its demise loss of support from the majority of its studios) and possibly the first gay adult movie on Blu-Ray Disc. Apparently the studio wants you to see and hear every little detail, from the thick cocks to hot, muscular bodies with ingrown hairs and subtle whispers to earth-shattering, wake up the neighbors 5.1 channel orgasms.

Time shall tell if HD Porn really takes off or not. For me, I'm fine with the standard DVD releases, after all, if I want to see every detail in porn, I'll go have sex with someone.
